Isfahan Tramway Project, TRAMIS

Tora, as a member of Maram Group, has the technical responsibility of Isfahan tramway project. Isfahan tramway project, TRAMIS, is the first tramway project in Iran, which is offered to Maram-Mehrgan consortium enjoying the support of Isfahan municipality, and city council. According to field of the project, prior activities of companies participating in consortium, and the nature of the project, Tora undertook the engineering design management of the project. In addition, due to Tora’s invaluable experiences in rolling-stock-related fields, the whole process of concept design, technical evaluation of rolling stock manufacturers, and preparation of tender documents, tendering and final evaluation of technical proposals have also been consigned to Tora. The fleet procurement contract has already been signed with INEKON Co., Czech. The design and execution of other tramway system components are also on the hand. The discussed tramway line is a 7km track located along Imam Khomeini Street, Isfahan.
